The government have announced a series of new and amended permitted development rights to be introduced in April 2013. The rights will be effective for three years, loosening planning constraints to help boost the economy.
Offices will be permitted to be used for residential purposes without planning permission.Town centre units will be allowed to be used for other town centre uses (i.e. Class A1 shops; A2 financial and professional services; A3 restaurants and cafes; B1 offices) without planning permission for a temporary two year period.
