Acting on behalf of our Private client’s, Ian Scott are delighted to announce the completion of the retail letting at 40-41 Great Marlborough Street, next to Carnaby Street in Soho. The building was originally occupied by Tiger Aspect productions, who famously displayed their Oscar for ‘The Gladiator’ in the front window. Our clients completely re-built the building behind the existing façade, to create a grand retail unit on the lower floors and state-of-the-art offices above. Ian Scott successfully let the mezzanine, ground and lower ground floor retail space (totalling circa 7,428 sq ft) to Kite Optics. Kite Optics paid a rent of £850,000 per annum for a 25 year term, which is a record rent for the street. Kite intend to convert the space into a world leading eye wear store, offering the most pioneering, personalised shopping experience.
